The NEBDN is fantastic as you learn a lot of things about dental nursing that other qualifications don't teach you, the examination process gets you ready for real life in a dental surgery

This is only me second year in joining Nebdn but so far I have been very satisfied. Enquiries and follow up is always handled in a timely and friendly manner. Newsletters are also interesting as well as email alerts so we know what is going on with any recent changes to our profession.

The NEBDN stands out as it delivers high quality education ensuring dental nurses have the oppertunity to improve in their career and work with evidenced based practice to deliver excellent standards of care to the service users. I think more qualifications should be available for dental nurses at degree level. I have just completed a foundation degree for post qualifying dental nursing at the university of hull which is now no longer available due to funding. Within this course i was able to complete dental radiography. I feel more course like this should be available for dental nurses to be able to achieve higher education. I am now continuing my professional studies in a Bsc in Health Studies. I think that a teaching/assessor course should be available through the nebdn, dental impression taking and a course for dental nurses to be able to go onto higher education. Thank you Rachael hartley.
